So I am really feeling quite behind on the blogging front - have so many products which I am totally loving at the moment and need to review. Hoping to catch up a bit over the next week or two...
Anyhow I have been trying to use up a bundle of testers that are lurking amongst my dressing room before purchasing any new delights because I am on a mission - to try to reduce the number of 'excessive' chemical-based products I am using. Plus, with recessionista in mind, I have been thinking about those 'good-old' natural diy beauty tips.
Here are my a few ideas which I have tried out and love:
ground rice as an exfoliator!! Yep you read me right - I bought a box from Ocado for 68p and it is amazing, I think it might actually be the best exfoliator I have used so far.
Cleanse your face as normal and then I added poured some ground rice into the cup of my hand, added another pump or two of cetaphil and applied all over my face, massaging gently - particularly the areas where I had dry skin build-up. It let me skin so soft without any irritation!! Winner :o)
ps Haven't tried it on my body get but I think it would still be good.
manuka honey as a spot on treatment...I bought an active 14+ manuaka honey for about £12 but it will last for absolutely ages.
